On August 17 and 18, 2024, the Reyes Gym in Mandaluyong City, Metro Manila, was abuzz with energy and excitement as it hosted the much-anticipated Women’s 3×3 Tournament. Together with Liga ng Kababaihan and Women’s Ballers, this event marked another significant milestone in our ongoing efforts to discover and nurture grassroots talent in the Philippines.
The Winners
The tournament showcased incredible talent and fierce competition across various age categories. After two days of intense basketball action, the champions emerged:
- 18 Below: Godspeed – A young team that displayed remarkable skill and determination, proving that the future of women’s basketball is indeed bright.
- 29 Below: Elijah – Demonstrating a perfect blend of experience and youthful vigor, they played with a level of maturity that set them apart from their competitors.
- 30 Up: Kengs B – With their seasoned approach and unwavering teamwork, they dominated the court and earned their well-deserved victory.
